With summer approaching, the Han River Park swimming pool and water playing areas across Seoul are planning to open. This year, swimming pools and water playgrounds will be open from June 28 to Aug. 25. Sadly, Mangwon outdoor swimming pool will be closed due to construction nearby.

Enjoying outdoor swimming pools and water parks at Hangang Park, located in the heart of the city, is a good way to cool off in the summer. There are shower facilities, snack bars and other amenities, so you can enjoy it at the swimming pool without any worries for a day.

When you enter the swimming pools in Gwangnaru, Ttukseom, Yeouido, Jamsil and Jamwon, you must wear the swimsuit and swimming caps. While in the swimming pools in Nanji Gangbyeon and Yanghwa don’t have worn. Operating hours are from 9 to 19 and children under the age of 5 can enter for free.

    * Mangwon Swimming Pool closed

■ Operating hours: Daily 9:00 – 19:00

■ Admission:

  - Gwangnaru / Ttukseom / Yeouido / Jamsil / Jamwon Outdoor Swimming Pool: Adults 5,000 won / Teenagers 4,000 won / Children 3,000 won /     Seniors 2,500 won
  - Nanji Gangbyeon & Yanghwa Water Parks: Adults 3,000 won / Teenagers 2,000 won / Children 1,000 won / Seniors 1,500 won
    * Adults (ages 19-64) / Teenagers (ages 13-18) / Children 6-12 (ages 6-12)
    * Seniors must provide proper identification

    * Children ages 5 & under may enter for free


■ Gwangnaru Swimming Pool

  - Directions: Amsa Station (Seoul Subway Line 8) Exit 3. Walk approx. 20 min.

■ Ttukseom Swimming Pool
  - Address: 112, Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (서울특별시 광진구 자양동 112)
  - Directions: Tukseom Resort Station (Seoul Subway Line 7), Exit 2. Walk approx. 4 min.

■ Yeouido Swimming Pool
  - Address: 82-3, Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul (서울특별시 영등포구 여의도동 82-3)
  - Directions: National Assembly Station (Seoul Subway Line 9), Exit 1. Walk approx. 15 min.

■ Jamsil Swimming Pool
  - Address: 1-1, Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul (서울특별시 송파구 잠실동 1-1)
  - Directions: Jamsilsaenae Station (Seoul Subway Line 2), Exit 6. Walk approx. 15 min.

■ Jamwon Swimming Pool
